Wranglers Acquire Bergin

LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Wranglers announced that they have received forward Kevin Bergin from the Toledo Storm in exchange for future considerations and cash.

The Wranglers are the ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League and the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League.

In 2004-05, the 23-year-old had 15 points (6g-9a) and 20 penalty minutes in 15 regular season games and six penalty minutes in four Kelly Cup Playoff games for Toledo and 39 points (13g-26a) and 90 penalty minutes in 56 games with Greenville.

The 6-foot-2 and 200-pound Bergin has played four seasons in the ECHL with Greenville, Toledo, Reading, Trenton, Pensacola, Cincinnati and Roanoke and has 105 points (38g-67a) and 418 penalty minutes in 234 regular season games and four points (1g-3a) and six penalty minutes in 12 Kelly Cup Playoff games.
