Wranglers add college teammates Lunden, Wiles

Las Vegas, Nev. – The Las Vegas Wranglers® announced today that they have agreed to terms with left winger Josh Lunden and right winger Sean Wiles for the 2011-12 season.  


Lunden, 25, entered professional hockey in the 2009-10 season after signing an entry-level contract with the Phoenix Coyotes. The 6’2, 202-pound left winger reported to the club’s AHL affiliate San Antonio Rampage where he recorded two assists in eight games. Splitting the 2010-11 season between the Rampage and the Wranglers, Lunden appeared in 12 games for San Antonio. In 11 games with the Wranglers, the Coquitlam, British Columbua native earned eight points (5g-3a) and eight penalty minutes.



The 2011-12 season will be Wiles’s first as a professional. The 6’3, 203-pound right winger spent four years at the University of Alaska-Anchorage (2007-11) where he tallied 48 points (22g-26a) and 79 penalty minutes across 111 games.
