LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Wranglers announced that the team will wear special Blue Man Group jerseys for its game against Fresno on Friday. The jerseys will be auctioned off in a silent auction on the concourse of the Orleans Arena with all proceeds being donated to Opportunity Village.
Blue Man Group will perform the National Anthem and will perform during the first intermission of Friday’s game against Fresno at the Orleans Arena. It is the third appearance at a Wranglers game for Blue Man Group which performed the National Anthem at the team’s first-ever home game on October 21, 2003 and returned to perform on March 19, 2004.
Opportunity Village is almost entirely self-funded but relies heavily on community support and financial donations. The donations enable Opportunity Village to provide vocational training, employment options, advocacy and other important services to friends, neighbors and family members with intellectual disabilities in Southern Nevada.
