Wranglers’ Crampton Loaned To Lowell

LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Wranglers announced that left wing Steve Crampton has been loaned to the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League.

Crampton will be available on Friday when Lowell hosts Providence and on Saturday when the Lock Monsters host Springfield.

The 23-year-old leads the Wranglers with 136 penalty minutes and is tied for third with 46 points while he is fourth with 18 goals and 28 assists in 50 games. Selected in the eighth round (248th overall) by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, Crampton began the season with Norfolk of the AHL and had four points (2g-2a) and nine penalty minutes in seven games.
