Wranglers Receive Bellemare From Omaha,

LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Wranglers announced that right wing Thomas Bellemare has been assigned to the team from the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League and that defenseman Adam Pardy has been recalled to Omaha.

The Wranglers are the ECHL affiliate of the Knights of the AHL and the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the seventh round (206th overall by Calgary in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Bellemare returns after two games with Omaha in which he had five penalty minutes.

In his first professional season, Pardy had four penalty minutes in three games with Las Vegas.

In his first professional season in 2004-05, the 6-foot-3 and 215-pound Bellemare had one assist and 82 penalty minutes in 29 games with Texas and six points and 117 penalty minutes in 36 regular season games and two assists and 20 penalty minutes in 15 Kelly Cup Playoff games with Charlotte.
