Wranglers Receive McKenna From Omaha

LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Wranglers announced that they have been assigned goaltender Mike McKenna by the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League.

The Wranglers are the ECHL affiliate of the Knights of the AHL and the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the sixth round (172nd overall) by the Nashville Predators in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old played four seasons at St. Lawrence University where he was 32-44-8 with a goals-against average of 2.85 and a save percentage of .906.
