Wranglers Sign O’Connor,
Trade Cameron To Wheeling

LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Wranglers announced that they have signed right wing Sean O’Connor and that they have traded right wing Jordan Cameron to the Wheeling Nailers in exchange for future considerations.

The Wranglers are the ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League and the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League.

Selected in third round (82nd overall) by the Florida Panthers in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, the 23-year-old O’Connor spent training camp with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL. In his third professional season in 2004-05, the 6-foot-3 and 220-pound O’Connor had 30 points (20g-10a) and 142 penalty minutes in 46 games with San Diego and one assist and 28 penalty minutes in 15 games with Cincinnati in the AHL.
