2003 Compuware/ECHL All-Star Game Broadcasters Named

Yahoo! Carries Broadcast Live for Fifth Year in a Row

PRINCETON, N.J. – The East Coast Hockey League announced on Friday that Mike Kelly of Mississippi, David Miller of Greenville and Kevin Reiter of Roanoke have been selected as announcers for the audio broadcast of the 2003 Compuware/ECHL All-Star Game.

The 2003 Compuware/ECHL All-Star Game will be played at 7:30 p.m. ET on January 21. The game and the skills competition on January 20 will be hosted by the Florida Everblades at TECO Arena in Estero, Fla. For tickets, telephone (239) 948-7825 or log on to www.ticketmaster.com.

The audio broadcast will feature a play-by-play announcer, a color commentator, and a roving reporter who will be ice level interviewing players and coaches as well as representatives from the ECHL and the NHL. The live audio play-by-play will be broadcast worldwide on the Internet by Yahoo! Events (http://www.broadcast.com), marking the fifth consecutive year that Yahoo! has carried the ECHL All-Star Game audio live on the Internet. The live broadcast will begin at 7:15 p.m. ET with the pregame show. Following the live broadcast, the 2003 Compuware/ECHL All-Star Game will be available through on-demand for one year.
