(Ticker) — Tom Buckley scored early in the third period and Rob Zepp made 36 saves to help the FloridaEverblades advance to the Kelly Cup Finals with a 3-2 victoryover the Reading Royals in the fifth game of the EasternConference Finals. Buckley netted his playoff-leading ninth goalin 12 games shorthanded 19 seconds into the final stanza,supplying Florida with a two-goal advantage. Zepp turned awayall 16 shots he faced in the first period and stopped 12 of 13in the third to improve to 8-1 with a 2.06 goals-against averagein the postseason. Matt Pagnutti opened the scoring 8:11 intothe contest and John McNabb broke a 1-1 tie with 7:06 remainingin the second for Florida, which snapped a two-game losingstreak, scoring more than one goal for just the second time inthe series.
