Aaron Gens returns to Americans’ blue line

Allen, Texas – The Kelly Cup champion Allen Americans announced that the club has re-signed defenseman Aaron Gens for the 2015-16 season.

The 28-year-old has recorded 90 points (15g-75a) in 146 career ECHL games with Allen, Reading and Evansville. Gens made his pro debut with the American Hockey League’s Lake Erie Monsters at the end of the 2011-12 season, picking up a pair of assists in seven games.

Prior to turning pro, he played four seasons at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks where he notched 72 points (12g-60a) in 140 career games.
