Aces Expect Tougher Test In Las Vegas

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – You don’t need a doctorate in hockey to figure out why the Alaska Aces own a 2-0 series lead over the Las Vegas Wranglers in the ECHL’s National Conference finals.

The Aces have produced better goaltending and superior special-teams work. Mix in their home-ice advantage — they won Games 1 and 2 at Sullivan Arena — and the Wranglers face a must-win scenario in Game 3 Tuesday in Sin City.
