After season away, Kravchenko heads back to Adirondack

Glens Falls, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced that the team has signed forward Dennis Kravchenko to a contract for the 2018-19 season.

 

Kravchenko returns to the Thunder after spending the 2017-18 season in Fort Wayne. With the Komets, Kravchenko posted 54 points (21g-33a) and added 94 penalty minutes and a +27 rating in 61 games.

 

The 24-year-old skated his rookie season for the Thunder during the 2016-17 campaign when he was one of five full-time Adirondack players to average at least a point-per-game. Kravchenko recorded 43 points (18g-25a) in 41 regular-season games, good for fifth most on the Thunder, while also being Adirondack’s leading point-scorer during the 2017 Kelly Cup Playoffs with five points (4g-1a) in six games.

 

Prior to turning pro, the Laguna Niguel, California native skated two seasons at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he contributed 61 points (22g-39a) in 68 games and led all Minutemen skaters in scoring during his first year with the team.
