AHL veteran Lemieux joins Condors

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.- The Bakersfield Condors, ECHL affoliate of the Edmonton Oilers, today that the team has agreed to terms with veteran center Francis Lemieux for the 2014-15 season.

Lemieux is entering his 10th professional season with 115 points (45g-70a) in 271 games in the American Hockey League with Hamilton, Grand Rapids, Manitoba and Connecticut. He has spent the past three seasons in Europe, most recently in Austria, where he led HC Innsbruck in scoring (40 points) and goals (16) in 2012-13.

During the 2010-11 season, he led the Florida Everblades in scoring with 73 points and assists with 45 in just 56 games as he was named to the All-ECHL Second Team. The 30-year-old has 85 points (37g-48a) in 69 career ECHL games with Florida and Las Vegas.
