All-Rookie defenseman back with Reign

ONTARIO, Calif. – The
Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division champions and ECHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, announced that Cameron Burt has agreed to terms with the club for the 2013-14 season.

Burt, 26, made his professional debut with Ontario at the end of 2011-12 and returned for his full rookie campaign in 2012-13. The Detroit, Mich. native earned 38 points (2g-36a) in 61 games, and finished the season with a plus-minus rating of +18. His impressive performance in 2012-13 earned Burt a spot on the ECHL All-Rookie Team.

Before joining the Reign, Burt completed a four-year collegiate career with the R.I.T. Tigers where he ranked among the top five scorers each season. Burt played in an R.I.T. record 147 games and recorded 138 points (43g-95a) to set the school’s all-time record.
