Augusta Trades Scuderi To Charlotte
Lynx, Auffrey Agree To Terms

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta Lynx announced that they have agreed to terms with forward Matt Auffrey and that they have traded defenseman Ken Scuderi to the Charlotte Checkers in exchange for future considerations.

The Lynx are the ECHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League and the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Selected in the sixth round (172nd overall) by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old Auffrey had 50 points (25g-25a), ranking second on the team in goals and points, and 92 penalty minutes in 72 regular season games and four points (2g-2a) and 10 penalty minutes in five Kelly Cup Playoff games for Augusta as a rookie in 2007-08.
