ANCHORAGE — After another dominating performance that bordered on the boring, you have to start wondering:
What does Chris Beckford-Tseu have to do to get a permanent gig at the next level?
Not that the Aces or their fans mind. All Beckford-Tseu has done in his Alaska career is help backstop the franchise to a Kelly Cup championship, go 7-0 in a brief appearance last season and turn in even more video game-like starts — including Sunday’s 24-save performance in a 4-1 win over Florida at Sullivan Arena — this time around.
But c’mon. As teammate Kimbi Daniels once put it, Beckford-Tseu is a man among boys in the ECHL. Surely there’s room for him somewhere in the next step up, the AHL.
