Bombers Acquire Lajeunesse

DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Bombers announced that they have acquired goaltender Simon Lajeunesse from the Gwinnett Gladiators in exchange for financial considerations.

In 2004-05, the 6-0 and 180-pound Lajeunesse is 1-3-0 with a goals-against average of 3.45 in four games with Gwinnett and 2-5-0 with a goals-against average of 2.54 in eight games with Fresno.

Selected in the second round (48th overall) by Ottawa in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, the 24-year-old Lajeunesse began his professional career in the ECHL in 2001-02, going 7-2-3 with a goals-against average of 2.86 and a save percentage of .910 with Mobile.
