Bombers Acquires Ford From Trenton
Dayton, Baum Agree To Terms

DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Bombers announced that they have acquired defenseman Scott Ford from the Trenton Titans in exchange for defenseman Evan Shaw and that center Dan Baum has agreed to terms.

The Bombers are the ECHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League and the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.

In his second professional season in 2005-06, the 26-year-old Ford had five points (1g-4a) and 35 penalty minutes in 22 games with Trenton while also playing in the AHL where he had seven points (1g-6a) and 72 penalty minutes in 44 games with Providence and two penalty minutes in two games with Bridgeport.

Selected in the seventh round(215th overall) by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, the 23-year-old Baum had six points (1g-5a) and 121 penalty minutes in 24 games with Greenville in 2005-06.
