Bombers Donate Over $80,000 To Charity

DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Bombers announced that they donated $83,412 in cash, tickets and merchandise to more than 300 not-for-profit organizations in the Miami Valley including The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton, Miami Valley Hospital, and For Love of Children, Inc., which received more than 500 teddy bears from the Bombers’ annual “Teddy Bear Toss.”.

The Bombers “Military Appreciation Night” jersey auction raised for $9,400 for the Fisher/Nightingale Houses at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base while a second jersey auction generated almost $5,000 for the Ronald McDonald House of Dayton.

Dayton is the ECHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League and the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.
