Bombers, Flache Agree To Terms

DAYTON, Ohio – The American Conference champion Dayton Bombers announced that they have agreed to terms with center Peter Flache.The Bombers are the ECHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League and the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.

The 25 year old played for St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada in 2006-07 and had 19 points (9g-10a) and 89 penalty minutes in 28 games.

The 6-foot-5 and 210-pound forward signed with Greenville of the ECHL after completing his junior career in 2002-03 and had three points (2g-1a) and nine penalty minutes in three regular season games and three goals and two penalty minutes in four games in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.

He played in the ECHL in 2003-04 and 2004-05 and has 62 points (22g-40a) and 162 penalty minutes in 124 regular games with Greenville, Gwinnett and Toledo.
