Bonis, Lampl are AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performers of the Month


Kyle Bonis and Cody Lampl of the Toledo Walleye are the AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performers of the Month for April after leading the league with a plus-minus rating of +9 during the month.


Bonis was even or better in five of six games during the month, and was a +4 in a season-ending 8-2 win against Kalamazoo on April 12. He posted a +3 rating on April 3 at Kalamazoo and was a +2 on April 4 against Elmira.


The 26-year-old led the Walleye this season with 36 goals and was fourth on the team with 59 points. He also saw action in three games with Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League.


A native of Lindsay, Ontario, Bonis has tallied 104 points (61g-43a) in 130 career ECHL games with Toledo and Florida.


Lampl posted an even or better rating in five of his six games in April and was a +3 on April 4 against Elmira and on April 12 against Kalamazoo


The 29-year-old had 30 points (8g-22a) in 62 games with Toledo this season and led the club with a +29 rating.


A native of Ketchum, Idaho, Lampl has 87 points (16g-71a) in 276 career ECHL games with Toledo, Idaho and Las Vegas. He has also appeared in 40 career American Hockey League games with St. John’s, Grand Rapids and Abbotsford.
