Bullies’ Macri Recalled To Bridgeport

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies announced that defenseman Vince Macri has been recalled to Bridgeport of the American Hockey League for the second time in the past month. Atlantic City is the ECHL affiliate of Bridgeport of the AHL and the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League.

Macri is tied with Brian Fahey and Dan Peters for the scoring lead among Atlantic City defensemen with four goals and 11 points in 27 games. He is scoreless in six games with Bridgeport. The 23-year-old Macri, who signed a contract with the Islanders on August 30, attended training camp with Bridgeport prior to his assignment to Atlantic City on October 13.

Macri, who played four seasons at Brown University, played three games for Bridgeport at the end of 2003-04, registering one assist.
