Bulls add trio of rookies

San Francisco Bulls, ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced that forwards Brett Findlay, Nick Czinder and Paul Chiasson have agreed to terms.

Czinder, 21, returns to the Bulls after finishing least season with San Francisco, following his final year in junior hockey with the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League. With the Bulls, Czinder recorded three points (2g-1a) in six regular-season games. He also skated in all five playoff games against the Alaska Aces. In his final season in the OHL, Czinder totaled 32 points (13g-19a) in 57 games between Peterborough and the Kitchener Rangers. The 6-foot, 5-inch, 230-pound, West Bloomfield, Mich. native collected 65 points and 151 penalty minutes in 175 career OHL gamers with the Windsor Spitfires, Kitchener and Peterborough.

Findlay, 20, also returns to the Bulls after spending the end of the 2012-13 season in San Francisco. The Echo Bay, Ontario native recorded three assists in six regular-season games with San Francisco. In the playoffs, he recorded two assists in five games. In his final season in the OHL, Findlay tallied 46 points (19g-27a) in 68 games to lead Peterborough in points and tie for the lead in goals. In 2011-12, Findlay had a taste of the pro level, registering six points (2g-4a) in 11 playoff games with the Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League. Findlay totaled 146 points (59g-87a) in 193 career OHL games with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and Peterborough.

Chiasson, 23, enters his first season of professional hockey after four years at Mercyhurst College. With the Lakers, the Toronto, Ontario native totaled 109 points (55g-54a) in 151 games. In 2010-11, Chiasson ranked second on Mercyhurst with 37 points (17g-20a) in 37 games.
