San Francisco – The San Francisco Bulls announced the name of their mascot – Rawhide. The team took suggestions for the name via online entries since October of this year. Earlier this month, fans voted for their favorite mascot name on the team’s website.
“We’re so glad our mascot finally has a name. He’s been making appearances all over San Francisco and the Bay Area and we can now introduce him to the fans as Rawhide,” explains San Francisco Bulls President and GM Pat Curcio.
For the past few months, Rawhide has been busy making public appearances at ice rinks and schools in the area. So far, he has visited Our Lady of Angels School in Burlingame, the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, and the San Francisco Day School.
