The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that forward Andrew Carroll has been returned by the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.
The Road Warriors are the ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers of the National Hockey League and the Adirondack Phantoms and Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey League.
Carroll was loaned to Abbotsford on November 5, 2010 after beginning the season with the Road Warriors. At the time of his call up Carroll was leading the Road Warriors in points (8) and goals (6) through five games. He returns to the Road Warriors with a four-game goal streak (6g) and a four-game point streak (6g-2a) intact. Carroll skated in 13 games in his time with the Heat and registered two points (1g-1a) along with four penalty minutes. It was Carroll’s second stint in the AHL after spending four games with the Hartford Wolf Pack last season.
