Charlotte Extends Affiliation With Rangers, Wolf Pack

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Checkers announced that they have extended their affiliation agreement with the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League and the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

Charlotte has had an affiliation with the Rangers for 13 seasons and there have been 23 former Checkers who have gone on to play in the NHL including Daniel Girardi , who was one of the 25 former ECHL players to make his NHL debut in 2006-07.

“The association with both the Rangers and Wolf Pack continues to be fruitful for all three teams,” said Charlotte president Jeff Longo. “We are proud of our work with Hartford and the relationship with New York, one of the preeminent teams in the National Hockey League.”
