Chicago, Rockford Assign
Five Players To Gwinnett

DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League have assigned forwards Adam Berti and Adam Hobson, defenseman Jean-Claude Sawyer and goaltender Joe Fallon to Gwinnett. It was also announced that Rockford of the American Hockey League has assigned defenseman Brennan Turner to the Gladiators.

Gwinnett is the ECHL affiliate of the Blackhawks and the Atlanta Thrashers of the NHL and Rockford and the Chicago Wolves of the AHL. Mike Haviland, who is one of two coaches to lead two different teams to the Kelly Championship, and John Torchetti, who was a coach and player in the ECHL, are assistant coaches for the Blackhawks.

The Gladiators also announced that they have traded forward Bruce Graham to the Bakersfield Condors in exchange for future considerations and that they have traded defensemen Jim Jorgensen and Preston Briggs to the Stockton Thunder in exchange for future considerations.
