Chiefs Agree To Terms With Stewart, Slonina

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Johnstown Chiefs announced that they have agreed to terms with veteran forward Dave Steward and forward Steve Slonina.

Slonina is one of the players to complete the trade of Mike James to Toledo in March.

The 24-year-old Slonina scored 19 points (8g-11a) in 51 games with Toledo in 2004-05. He played in 2003-04 with Gwinnett where he scored 37 points (20g-17a) in 69 games.

The 30-year-old Steward scored 16 points (6g-10a) and 253 penalty minutes in 71 regular season games with Reading of the ECHL in 2003-04.
