JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Johnstown Chiefs announced that they have agreed to terms with center Jean Desrochers.
The 27 year old led the Chiefs in the Kelly Cup Playoffs with three points (1g-2a) in two games while tying for the team lead with 17 goals and tying for second with 38 points in 54 regular season games. He also played in the American Hockey League where he had three points (2g-1a) in 16 games for Springfield.
Desrochers has played for Johnstown each of his first three seasons and he has 133 points (55g-78a) in 198 regular season games and five points (3g-2a) in seven games in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
He was named to the ECHL All-Star Game as a rookie in 2004-05 when he had career highs with 19 goals, 33 assists and 52 points in 72 games.
