Chiefs Receive Henrich, Hrdel From Springfield

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Johnstown Chiefs announced that left wings Zbynek Hrdel and Adam Henrich have been reassigned from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.

The Chiefs are the ECHL affiliate of the Falcons of the AHL and the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the second round (60th overall) by the Lightning in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old Henrich has two penalty minutes in one game with Springfield. As a rookie in 2005-06, he had 41 points (18g-23a) in 51 regular season games and six points (2g-4a) in five Kelly Cup Playoff games for Johnstown while also playing for Springfield where he had three assists in 12 games.

Selected in the ninth round (286th overall) by the Lightning in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 21-year-old Hrdel has two penalty minutes in one game with Springfield. As a rookie in 2005-06, he had 11 points (6g-5a) in 15 regular season games and three points (1g-2a) in four Kelly Cup Playoff games for Johnstown while also playing in Springfield where he had 15 points (5g-10a) in 46 games.
