Clackson and Duddy return to Gwinnett


Duddy returns to Gwinnett for his first full professional season. He earned four points (1g-3a) in seven games following his final collegiate season at Ohio State University last year. He also skated in all four Kelly Cup Playoff games with Gwinnett last year and notched one assist. Last year as a Buckeye, Duddy earned 14 points (1g-13a) in 35 games. In four collegiate seasons at the Ohio State University, Duddy earned 24 points (2g-22a) in 124 career games. The Ann Arbor, Mich. native was a two-time team captain at Ohio State. He was the 2009 Coaches Award winner, a three-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar while with the Buckeyes.


Prior to attending Ohio State, Duddy skated one season with Wichita Falls Wildcats of the North American Hockey League in 2007-08. He earned five points (2g-3a) in 56 games with the Wildcats. While with Wichita Falls, Duddy was named the Wildcats’ Defensive Player of the Year.
