Cole Returns To Salmon Kings From Manitoba

VICTORIA, British Columbia – The Victoria Salmon Kings announced that defenseman Phil Cole has been returned by the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

The Salmon Kings are the ECHL affiliate of the Moose of the AHL and the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the fourth round (125th overall) by the New Jersey Devils in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot-4 and 197-pound Cole appeared in one game with Manitoba. Acquired by Victoria from Augusta in exchange for future considerations on Oct. 31, he has one assist and 15 penalty minutes in four games with the Salmon Kings after registering one assist and six penalty minutes in two games with the Lynx.
