Condors add AHL experience with Nash

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors, ECHL affiliate the National Hockey League’s Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey League’s Oklahoma City Barons, announced that the team has signed defenseman Brendon Nash.

Nash, 27, has played 159 career games in the American Hockey League with Hamilton, San Antonio, Charlotte and Hartford, recording 60 points (11g-49a). As a rookie in 2010-11, he saw action in two NHL games with the Montreal Canadiens.

A native of Kamploops, British Columbia, Nash played four seasons at Cornell University where he had 67 points (8g-59a) in 120 games. He is the older brother of Riley Nash, who is currently a forward with the Carolina Hurricanes.
