Condors Gather Over 2,500 Pounds Of Food For Homeless

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors announced that almost 2,500 pounds of food was donated by fans attending the fifth annual Open House and Family Day presented by KGET-TV 17 on Sunday at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center.Admission was free with the donation of two canned food items with all donations benefiting the Bakersfield Homeless Center.“Sunday’s Open House and Family day was a great success and it’s all because of the great Condors fans out there,” said team president Matthew Riley. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet and greet the new team and also donate to such a worthy cause. Our fans have proven over and over again how generous they are and Sunday was again no exception.”
