Condors’ James Called Up To Manchester

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors announced that rookie left wing Connor James has been called up to Manchester of the American Hockey League.

Selected in the ninth round (279th overall) by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and under contract to the Kings, the 22-year-old James has three points (2g-1a) and 10 penalty minutes in 14 games with Manchester.

In his first professional season, James tied for fourth on the Condors with 46 points (21g-25a) in 51 regular season games and finished tied for the team postseason lead with three goals and four points in five games. During the regular season, he led league rookies with four shorthand goals and six shorthand points while ranking third among rookies in plus-minus rating (+25).
