STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder announced that they have been assigned left wing Landon Bathe by the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League.
The Thunder is the ECHL affiliate of the Coyotes of the National Hockey League and the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.
In 2004-05, the 23-year-old, who comes to Stockton after spending training camp with San Antonio, had six points (2g-4a) and 63 penalty minutes in 30 games with the Idaho Steelheads and also played one game in the AHL with Utah.
Bathe signed with Phoenix as a free agent in September 2004 after participating for the Coyotes in the 2004 Rookie Camp Tournament where he had three points (1g-2a) and led his team and ranked third in the tournament with 26 penalty minutes in four games.
In 2003-04, the 6-0 and 218-pound Bathe scored 10 points (4g-6a) and had 182 penalty minutes in 56 regular season ECHL games with Toledo and 22 penalty minutes in six regular season AHL games with Milwaukee.
