Daavettila returns for fourth season with Eagles

WINDSOR, Colo. – The Colorado Eagles announced that they have re-signed forward Trent Daavettila for the 2015-16 season.

During the 2014-15 campaign, the Howell, Mich. native led the team in scoring with 69 points, while also pacing the Eagles with 53 assists. It was the second straight year in which Daavettila led Colorado in both of those categories. He was also named the ECHL Player of the Month in January 2015.

In three seasons with Colorado, Daavettila has notched 202 points in 189 games, including 57 goals and has a cumulative plus-minus rating of +22. The veteran forward has also registered 22 points in 19 post-season games with the Eagles.

Since 2009, Daavettila has produced the most points in the entire ECHL with 466 (including playoff games). In that time, his 323 assists are also good for first, while his cumulative plus/minus rating of +82 is tied for first in the ECHL.
