Dahl returns for second season in Idaho

Boise, Idaho – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Neil Graham announced that the Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Jefferson Dahl.

The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League and the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.

Dahl joined the Steelheads midway through the 2014-15 season and averaged nearly a point-per-game, collecting 34 points (13g-21a) and a +13 rating in 41 games with Idaho. Six of his goals came on the power play, third-most on the team, despite missing nearly half the season. The 25-year-old had a five-game point streak in March, scoring three goals and adding five assists in that stretch. He began last season in Europe, posting 11 points (7g-4a) in 18 games with Klostersee EHC in Germany.

Prior to turning pro, Dahl played four seasons at the University of Wisconsin notching 47 points (17g-30a) in 150 career games.
