Dale, IceMen agree to terms

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Evansville IceMen announced that the club has agreed to terms with forward Jason Dale for the 2012-13 season.


The IceMen are the ECHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League and the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.


Dale, 23, enters his fourth pro campaign following two seasons with Bloomington of the Central Hockey League. In 2011-12, the Pickering, Ontario product ranked fourth in Bloomington team scoring with 39 points (17g-22a) in a team-high 65-games. One year previously in 2010-11, Dale led Bloomington to its first-ever playoff berth, topping the team in scoring, registering 52 points (17g-35a) in 63-games


He began his pro career in the ECHL in 2009-10, scoring nine points (3g-6a) in 29 games with Utah and Bakersfield.


Prior to turning pro, Dale played three seasons with Brampton in the OHL, where in 185 games, he collected 93 points (34g- 59a).
