ST. CATHARINES, Ontario – The Professional Hockey Players Association announced the election of John Wroblewski of Fresno and Kirk Daubenspeck of South Carolina to the PHPA Executive Committee.
“These young men have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to their teammates and Association in serving as Player Representatives,” said PHPA Executive Director Larry Landon. “Their election to this important position within the Association is a clear statement of their dedication to their teammates and a reflection of the respect they have earned as professionals.”
Wroblewski and Daubenspeck will join Ian Manzano of Johnstown, Milt Mastad of Mississippi and Ben Keup of Idaho on the committee which provides direction and oversight in dealing with matters of importance to the PHPA and its members. Elected at the PHPA annual meeting, executive committee members serve three-year terms.
