DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Bombers announced that they have re-signed right wing Steve Dix.
In his first full professional season in 2004-05, the 22-year-old Dix had a team-leading 257 penalty minutes and nine points (3g-6a) in 65 games. The three goals were scored in a game against Johnstown on March 19.
The 5-11 and 175-pound Dix scored 14 points (4g-10a) and had 174 penalty minutes in 60 regular season games with Saginaw of the Ontario Hockey League in 2003-04. He played four playoff games with San Angelo of the Central Hockey League, accumulating four penalty minutes.
