DAYTON, Ohio – The Dayton Bombers unveiled the commemorative logo for their 15th Anniversary Season in 2005-06. The Bombers joined the ECHL in 1991-92 and advanced to the Kelly Cup Playoffs in each of their first 11 seasons, including the Kelly Cup Finals in 2002.
The logo was designed and produced by TDH Marketing and Communications in Dayton. The logo, which was designed and produced by TDH Marketing and Communications in Dayton, has the Bombers logo inset into the letters “XV”, the Roman Numeral for 15, as well as a banner with “15th Anniversary” and “1991” for the first season the team took the ice and “2005” for the upcoming season.
“We are very proud of our involvement with the Dayton Bombers and we were excited about the opportunity to develop the 15th Anniversary logo,” said John Hull, Director of Marketing for TDH Marketing and Communications. “Our goal was to develop a logo that captured the excitement of the Bombers while maintaining an element of familiarity and we think that this logo is a perfect fit.”
Dayton has produced numerous individual award winners during its 14 seasons, including three-time ECHL Defenseman of the Year Tom Nemeth and three-time Sportsmanship Award winner Jamie Ling.
