NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – Turns out Alaskans and South Carolinians have more in common than the South Carolina Stingrays-Alaska Aces battle in the ECHL’s best-of-seven Kelly Cup Finals, which begin Friday in Anchorage.

Handicapping the Kelly Cup through a fish-eye lens and a dozen categories:
Gators, snakes and sharks vs. polar bears, grizzly bears and Kodiak bears.
Alaska has wolves, too. We have Palmetto Bugs on our side.
