Eagles add rookie forward Moriarty

WINDSOR, Colo. – The
Colorado Eagles announced that they have signed forward Daniel Moriarty for the 2013-14 season.

The 5-foot-9, 180-pound right-wing recently concluded a four-year collegiate career in the ECAC for Harvard University. He competed in 110 contests for the Crimson, totaling 41 points (16g-25a).

The Estevan, Saskatchewan native played three seasons in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Moriarty registered 47 goals in 166 games with the Melville Millionaires. In 2007-08, he joined the British Columbia Hockey League. With the Alberni Valley Bulldogs, Moriarty played in 56 games and recorded 61 points (29g-32a).
