Eagles agree to terms with Mychan

WINDSOR, Colo. – The Colorado Eagles announced that they have signed forward Jesse Mychan for the 2015-16 season. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound winger spent the past season overseas with the Cardiff Devils of the EIHL, where he registered 25 points and 157 penalty minutes in 44 games.

Mychan began his professional career with the Eagles during the 2013-14 season, tallying 18 points (11g-7a) and producing 262 penalty minutes, which lead all ECHL rookies and was good for second overall in the league. He also earned a call-up to the AHL, where he saw action in three contests with the Portland Pirates.

Prior to turning pro, the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native played two seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Everett Silvertips and the Tri-City Americans. During the 2012-13 campaign, Mychan racked up 42 points (19g-23a) in 60 games with the Americans while also recording 111 penalty minutes during the season.
