Eagles sign rookie forward Jordan Kwas

WINDSOR, Colo. – The Colorado Eagles, ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Calgary Flames and the AHL’s Adirondack Flames, announced that they have signed Jordan Kwas for the 2014-15 season.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound forward spent the past four seasons at the University of Alaska-Anchorage, where he accumulated 90 points (30g-60a) in 124 games. He led the Seawolves in scoring during his junior season, registering 20 points (9g-11a) in 29 games. Kwas followed that up with a senior season that saw the Cochrane, Alberta native post new career-highs in goals (13), assists (19) and points (32), while generating seven multi-point games.

Prior to joining the Seawolves, Kwas played three seasons or junior hockey, with the majority of that time spent with the Olds Grizzlys of the AJHL, in addition to five games with the Victoria Grizzlies of the BCHL. Kwas finished his career in Olds collecting 127 points (43g-84a) in 134 games with the Grizzlys.
