ECHL announces fines, suspension

 

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspension.

Trenton’s Miller fined, suspended

Trenton’s Tyler Miller has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Preseason Game #3, Reading at Trenton, on Oct. 5.

Miller was assessed a match penalty for illegal check to the head under Rule #48.5 at 19:52 of the third period.

Miller will miss Trenton’s preseason game tonight at Reading, and will miss regular-season games against Greenville (Oct. 12) and at Reading (Oct. 13).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

Trenton’s Nagy fined

Trenton’s Kory Nagy has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Preseason Game #3, Reading at Trenton, on Oct. 5.

Nagy was assessed a minor penalty for mouthguard violation under Rule 9.5 at 14:51 of the second period.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

Colorado’s Gauthier fined

Colorado’s Gabe Gauthier has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Preseason Game #3, Reading at Trenton, on Oct. 5.

Nagy was assessed a minor penalty for mouthguard violation under Rule 9.5 at 3:55 of the second period.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
