ECHL announces fines, suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL on Monday announced the following fines and suspensions.

 

Cincinnati’s Hudson Fined, Suspended

 

Cincinnati’s Carl Hudson has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #645, Toledo at Cincinnati, on March 26.

 

Hudson is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.

 

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

 

Hudson missed Cincinnati’s game at Toledo on March 27.

 
Elmira’s Frank Fined
 

Elmira’s Chris Frank has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #652, Kalamazoo at Elmira, on March 27.

 

Frank was assessed a fighting major and game misconduct – aggressor, under Rule #46.2 at the conclusion of the first period. He is fined under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.

 

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
