PRINCETON, N.J. – The East Coast Hockey League announced on Wednesday that its games will continue as scheduled.
“The White House has encouraged that we continue to lead our normal lives, and the ECHL will continue forward,” said Brian McKenna, ECHL President/CEO. “Our thoughts are with the men and women in uniform involved in the Iraqi conflict and elsewhere. We will continue to monitor the situation and take our lead from other sports and government organizations as events unfold.”
The ECHL regular season ends March 30 with the 2003 Kelly Cup Playoffs scheduled to begin April 1 with the Southeast Division and Southwest Division Wild Card Games.
