ECHL mourns loss of former player Potomski

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL and its member teams mourn the loss and express their condolences to the family and friends of former ECHL right wing Barry Potomski, who passed away on Tuesday in Windsor, Ontario.


Potomski played two seasons in the ECHL with Erie and Toledo from 1992-94, scoring 38 points (15g-23a) in 61 games. He was part of Toledo’s 1993 Riley Cup championship team scoring seven points (5g-2a) in 14 postseason games. He went to play in 68 career National Hockey League games with Los Angeles and San Jose scoring 11 points (6g-5a) and adding 227 penalty minutes.
